Moving Into 2010

Set to do great things for the Lord. Have clear visions and move on to fulfill the visions.....reachout to the lost to win them for Christ.

Be more caring as a leader, not as taskmasters of Egypt, but as shepherds to the people entrusted into your care.

The church is full of hungry souls, longing for the Word of life. Be ready to feed them.

Be practical and be an example to the congregation. Teach with your life and not just with your words
.

Do more reading, equipping for ministry. Never take things for granted thinking that Church leaders' job is just to fill up the speakers list for each calander month.

Missions Workers Needed

Talking about missions? Have a desire to send out missionaries overseas? How about meeting some local needs!
Thousands have been spent to send missionaries abroad. Some even alocated some fund and send to some foreign missions ventures. How about caring for the need back in our home yards?
Kuala Kangsar Gospel Hall needs a team of missionaries to volunteer coming over to help them. Sister Ai Ling is doing all she can to help getting people interested in the gospel. Mr.Lee the father is doing what he can to preach and teach the Word in this small congregation. Mr.Tan is also helping up in managing the church affairs. Others are trying to work among the children.
Why start new work overseas and neglect the work locally?
Why spend hundreds over a meal when you can easily finance some works and meet some needs in a small church.
Pray that God will speak to some and touch lives to come forward to help in KKGH.

Hospital Carolling 2009

Thank God for another year of visit to the hospitals during Christmas season. It has been the culture of NTGH to share this Christmas joy with hospital inmates and hospital staff over the past 40 years!
We have the opportunity of giving away some fruit package to the inmates. We have also the opportunity to explain our faith the our friends. We shared with them "Kurnia Tuhan pada manusia" (Gift of God to mankind),"Harapan dalam hidup"(Hope in life), and also reminded a couple about children are the gift of God to the parents etc.

Visit to Seremban Gospel Hall

What is so special about the trip?

It is Kiwi's first trip to Seremban Gospel Hall in his 33 years of fulltime ministry.

It is a trip to take a series of three services: Christmas Special ,Sunday Morning ministry and a CF meeting on Sunday afternoon.

The Christmas Special was presided by four teen members and the various tiems revealed to us that Seremban Gospel Hall has the potential to win the young ones to the Lord.

Let us uphold the fulltime worker: Pastor Pang Xing Qiang and his team of leadership in prayer.

Share Your hearts Out

Speak up or you will not have a chance to improve our churches. Do you love your church? Must Brethren Churches in Malaysia stay weak and ineffective?

1.Are you happy with what it is at this present moment?
2.Do you have any personal experiences and wanted to share as how the church can be improved!
3.What is your suggestion as how we can improve our churches? What changes must take place ?
4.If things go on as it is what can you expect of the Brethren churches?

Be caring, loving, and truthfully, give your constructive comments..... while it is still time to improve our churches.

Plan for 2010

Hi,
Time to plan for 2010.
You cannot leave it to the last moment of 2009 otherwise your 2010 will not be a fulfilling year. You will know what you want as you sit down to plan ahead.

I have almost got my itinenary planned out for 2010.
This coming January is my 60th. birthday. It is my 33rd anniversay of fulltime ministry.

Though I am on my semi-retiring schedule (because no more doing pastoral ministry), I returned to my itinenary preaching ministry.

However, I am giving most of my time to the Chinese Assemblies, that is where the need is.
Nevertheless, I hope to pay visits to Melaka, Klang Valley, Johor Sedenak etc. ( Places I miss out in my fulltime ministry.)

Do continue to uphold me in prayer, asking God for an effective and powerful ministry.

While visiting KL, Kiwi and family took the opportunity to worship with the saints of Serdang Life Chapel. This is where Kiwi's son, Kean Yong, is actively serving the Lord. This was where many NTGH members had their fellowship while studying in the univerisity.
It was in a good location for new local church. However, much work need to put in to see the growth in the church.
This small assembly needs a van to ferry university studemts to the church services. If you are with the new work, do pray and contribute towards their church fund as well as their van fund.

Preaching Session IN KLGH

Kiwi was invited by Yisheng to speak at a special session in KL Gospel Hall. It was a talk on The Priesthood of Believers.
Thank God for a good turn up that night.(Estimated about 60 people.)
The main emphasis was on the true meaning of The Priesthood of Believers and how some misunderstanding of it can affect the growth of the churches.
The misunderstanding of it has resulted in local church management structure and also in matters pertaining to ministry.
However, the true spirit of Priesthood should helps to send a wave of revival among the believers worshipping in the local churches. It should encourage evangelism and missions and planting of local churches everywhere.
Has the understanding of Priesthood of Believers bring about such life among the assemblies? Why not?

Sungai Bakap Gospel Hall 25th.Anniversary

29th.August 2009 marked the 25th.Anniversary of the New Sungai Bakap Gospel Hall. In fact, the work of SBGH was initially started by the early missionaries in the 1900. A hall was built in the 1930 and when that hall was demolished a second was built in the 40s. It lasted till early 70s when it gave way to a new Sungai Bakap highway.
By God's grace, with the help of the Ng family, a new church was built and commence a new Sungai Bakap Gospel Hall in 1984.
Mr.Ng Kim Chuang a member of the early Ng family came to give an account of the history of SBGH. The young leader Zhi Xing song lead the special service and a fulltime worker from the local congregation TehSeng Kong preached the Word.
Praise God for keeping the work going ever since the 1900.

PJH 826

We sold our old Kancil to Ah Lin and ordered a new Viva in its place. The car was delivered to us at 4.50pm this evening....26/8/09
Thank God for the loan facility from Public Bank for this new purchase.
Surely it will come handy as a mean to transport believers to meeting for Hai Yen (Mrs.Kiwi).

Ever since God has work among the Vietnamese God has prepared His servants to minister to the saints. Joe and Ann will be going back home for good this October. Kim and June have come to help up in the ministry.
As a host, Kiwi invited them to dinner on 23rd.August 2009. One is to say farewell to Joe and Ann,another is to welcome Kim & June.
Thank God for blessing the ministry.
