Happy Chinese New Year
Wishing all my readers a Happy Chinese New Year.
If you are looking forward to a blessed year, abide in the Lord always. God, our Heavenly Father, is the source of all our blessing. Apart from Him we are nothing.

Read through Psalms 1:1-3
Do not live in sin or in the way of the wicked. Instead we are told to chose, to desire the way of the Lord. To meditate and to study His Word, and to obey and walk in God's way. Such is a blessed man.

When God grant us such blessing, we will be in a good standing in life, like a tre being planted by the waters. We will be blessed with all our needs, and even in bad time, we will fear no evil. Even in all the things that we do in His will, in Hia way, God will bless.

May this be your blessed year.

Facebook & Blogging

Of late many chose to post and write on facebook.
I am one of them.
Definitely it reaches to the people who you wanted to share in just an instance with facebook.
However, lots of unwanted things also come into your site. Nevertheless, those things are the tell sign of the activities of your friends. It is more casual and friendly, more down to earth and real without any hidding.
You began to be concern with your friends, you encourages them, you comfort them, you motivate them etc. You share their worries and know their pains.

Facebook is a channel for parents, leaders, and pastors to know how their loving people are doing out there in the world, in their career, in their studies, in their relationship. You can some time feel their depressive spirit, their anxiety, and their fear. You know how to attend to them immediately.

Blogging (if there is such a word for it), is a report. A news sharing. It is not easily accessible  to our friends until they turn on their internet. Even then, they may not like to read lengthy aricles. Hahahaha the modern day generation has not much patience for reading.

As for me, when I am too busy with my schedule, writing and posting on a blog is just as inconvenience. But surely it is a good platform to share our thoughts and our hearts out to those who wanted to reachout to.

Let us keep in touch in anyway.......never lose a friend, a buddy just becoz you are busy.

The Channel of Blessings---- NTGH

NTGH has been given a privilege to provide a ministry to work among the Nepali workers as well as the Vietnamese workers.

God is His own ways has initiated the ministry with some English migrant workers who act as interpretors for many of us.

Gradually, these migrant leaders took over the leading role and continue to work in their native language. NTGH provided teaching and training sessions to leaders and allow the leaders to lead their own ministry.

We also help to look into their matrimony matters.First with parental consent back at home, then with simple church ceremony.

It was much joy when such occations arises. Soon after marrage, when their work permits expire, they prefered to return home.

By God's grace work has extended much to Nepal and also to the homes and relatives of these believers. We can see how they were committed to the work in their place of work, also live a God pleasing life.
Lately we have teams of friends visiting our dear believers friends at their home country, fostering a very close fellowship link.

Though NTGH may be a small assembly, in obedience to God, we witnessed great work done in these lives. To God be the glory.

Fresh Start Soon

Hi,
It is almost a year since my LAST posting in this Blog.
Many things had happened and events passed by. Refer to my facebook.

However, I must covet your prayer as I realised time has come for me to start afresh on my ministry.
I am comtemplating to resign from NTGH eldership. I wanted to go on to a new phase of  my ministry...... CVM Ministry. Country and Village Ministry. I hope to be available to small country churches, to preach the Word and to encourage the saints. I wanted to be a ON Site Reporter of the condition and needs of the churches I drop into. I hope to keep my readers (my prayer supporters) know exactly the needs of the saints in the country township and villages.

I hope to be able to provide some form of intensive training sessions for these smaller churches. I wanted to provide fellowship t those lonely church leaders in these churches. This will be my last lapse of ministry in my life.

In fact, I have been waiting for a fresh commissioning from the Lord. I just wanted to know what the Lord has for me for the next phase of my ministry. Thank God for reveling to me gradually His plan. I hope to work on His plan and be on the move again.

If you are with me, do pray for a clear leading and an effective ministry. Since I intend to leave my pastoral role, I need a platform to stand on for my new ministry. I hope to call it CVM Ministry. Pray with me. Comment on this plan if you have any leading of the Spirit. Thanks

Hello Everybody !

Some may wonder why I have not posted much news in my blog. Well, nothing new happened of late except some preaching trips.

In fact, I had been around to BMGC, BGH, SBGH, and of late, I was up at Cameron Gospel Hall. I was also taking a camp for KCC Chinese Assembly.

During the school holidays my youngest daughter took the mum (Hai yen) to Taiwan for 10 days tour.

Anyway whenever there is something interesting I will surely post it here to keep in touch with all my prayer partners. God willing, I will be going to Sedenak in October to take two meetings during a week end.

God bless you all.

Saying Good Bye

This is our late Mr.Shee Khai Chin, Loo Nee and Loo Soo's father. He passed away to be with the Lord on 25/3/2012 at 89 years old.

When I visted the parlour I could not recognise him at the first glance. However, if you look at the photo from afar off, you will recognise him.

Thank God for granting him so many years to enjoy the fellowship and love of the chidlren and grandchildren. He had many years of good christian fellowship with BRGH Chinese Assembly.

We will always remember him as our NTGH church secretary. A simple but friendly and caring brother in the Lord. Rest in peace.Amen.

Church On The Move

This is a busy generation. People at work have no choice but to work when duty calls. Whether you are an engineer or a medical doctor, or a truk driver or a business man. Even a teacher is just as busy as anybody.

How do we go about refreshing our spirit and enhancing our fellowship in the Lord?

Of late, we decided to get the church away from the church building on Sunday 11/3/2012. We encourage members to make time for worship and fellowship on Sunday 11/3. This time , it will be a weekend break away from routine (from home and place of work), at the same time to have spiritual refreshing and Christian fellowship.

We chartered a bus, we booked CCC (a camp site) for day use only.
We gathered in the church on Sunday morning, and we boarded the bus and shoot off to Penang CCC.

we had our singspiration on board the bus, words of encouragement, and sharing etc. We had our worship service in CCC and lunch fellowship. It was followed by a forum session, with a panel of four forum speakers. At the end of the session we had tea fellowship. There after a free session to move about in the beach.

As soon as dinner was over, we headed for home.
All expenses were sponsored by the church. Praise the Lord, God gave us a fine weather for that day.

Nepali Beliveres Wedding at NTGH

22nd Jan 2012 was CNY eve. I was busy conducting a nepali belivers weddign service in NTGH. In fact, we are leaving behind a weddign service format for the Nepali congregations. We hope when they are back in nepal, leading their various congregations throughout nepal, they will consider our Nepali wedding Service in NTGH.

First there was this pre marital counselling session with the couple. Then briefing the couple regarding the service order and things not to forget to do or bring to the service.

In the actual wedding service we conducted it in Bahasa interpreted into Nepali mother tongue. We finished the officiating ceremony first, followed by the exhortation. Then giving the service over to the worship leader for song and praises and items presentation. In this case we have the Vietnamese presenting some song items at this Nepali wedding service.

Then we have an elder from NTGH to bless the couple. Having all done, we pronounced them husband and wife before the ending of the service. Tea reception followed.

Praise God for the good turn up of both friends and believers at the wedding service.
